Festival ‘Listen’

International storytelling festival „Listen“ is organised by Baltic Storytelling Centre and will take place online on May 21-24th. Here you can find English language events of the festival. The festival was made possible with the support of the Federation for European Storytelling and the creative Europe programme of the European Union.

„Storytelling for Social Change“ online workshop by ImproBattle organisation (NL)

The workshop is mainly designed for those who are working in the NGO field but can be very useful for everyone interested in making a change. The host of the workshop is Marijn Vissers, the founder of ImproBattle organisation, which has been working with vulnerable groups of the society in schools, migrant centers, war zones, and prisons for more than 10 years already while using tools of improvisation theatre and storytelling to reach the change. Musician and researcher Anastasis Sarakatsanos sets off from Athens to the north of Greece, on a mission to discover forgotten songs and document dying cultures. He comes back with some unexpected gifts from his journeys and he is ready to share them all with us.

Who are you when no one is looking?
A humorous and touching story about belonging.

Soula Notos is a Dutch-Greek comedian, actress, theater maker, and storyteller who has written her first long theatrical piece “Who are you when no one is looking”. In the piece, she tells expressive, energetic, poetic stories full of self-mockery about growing up with different labels and how to deal with them without losing your mind.
